PARENT
COACHING

Kind, Curious, Brave Parenting:

I know what it’s like to have a vision of myself as a parent and how hard it is to ask for help.

I know what it’s like to get unsolicited advice and feel judged for doing things “differently.”

I know what it is to be held compassionately while struggling with all the things that come up when you are a parent.

And I know that when you grow your parenting skills your relationship with your child can change dramatically and for the better.

My own experience has taught me that, with non-judgmental, compassionate, and knowledgeable support, we can build authentic, connected, and collaborative relationships with our children.

I want YOU to know YOU can lead yOUR children through the highs and lows of growing up with

compassion,

confidence,

and

collaboration.

Whether you are about to become a parent, are a parent to kids of any age, or a caregiver working with children, the goal is the same: to support grownups as they find their way to a joyful, loving, and connected relationship with their children.

One-on-one &/or co-parent sessions

45 minute sessions for parents/caregivers looking to grow their toolbox and deepen their connection with their children. We can address specific challenges, tackle persistent “sticky” spots between you and your child, or work on a specific skill, tool, or perspective shift.

  • A single session is best for existing clients/those addressing a time-sensitive issue.
  • In 3 sessions you will deepen your understanding of your child, your relationship, set goals, and build skills to get you there.
  • With 6 sessions you can start seeing the impact of this work, expand your toolbox, and address longer term, more challenging questions.

"She listens with an open heart and shares her expertise in a way that feels both honest and encouraging. She never glosses over how hard parenting can be, yet she always leaves me feeling hopeful and better equipped. Time and time again, I walk away from our sessions thinking “yes, that’s exactly what I needed to hear.”

"Shana has been an integral part of my parenting journey for over 10 years and I can’t imagine doing it without her."

—Laura G, parent to an 11yo and 8yo

"The more a parent has guidance to process emotions, the more open is their brain to new skills. Shana brings both the caring support and real solutions that helped me arrive at my best for hard moments. She is at once kind and creative and this mixture is extremely helpful when you can’t see a solution. She has a remarkable range that can follow clients from darkness to humor with ease and without judgement."

"Through working with Shana, I have come to understand that parenting skills and parenting support go together."

—emily, parent to teens

"Since working with her I have found more playfulness and ease with my toddler and kindergartener. And I have more confidence in my ability to handle whatever meltdown comes my way.”

"Shana has done wonders for us."

—Megan W, parent to a 5yo and 3yo
